The 1X9 fiber optic transceivers product was first produced in 1999. It uses SC optical head and is a fixed optical module product. It is usually directly cured on the circuit board of the communication equipment and used as a fixed optical module. The 1X9 optical transceiver module can be divided into two types: single-mode and multi-mode.

1X9 transceiver single-mode optical module, single power supply +3.3V or +5V power supply, LVPECL/PECL/TTL data interface, DC coupling, can supply lead-free products. Compliant with specification requirements include: ITU-TG957/958 specification requirements, Class 1 specification products, IEC 60825-1 requirements, GR-468-CORE requirements.

1X9 transceiver multi-mode optical module, dual SC/ST optical interface, single +3.3V or +5V power supply, LVPECL/PECL data interface, DC coupling, low cost, low power consumption. Products that meet the requirements of RoHS regulations can be supplied. Comply with ITU-TG957/958 specifications, and Telcordia (Bellcore) GR-468-CORE requirements. The main laser devices used are 850nm VCSEL or 1310nm FP-LD.

The 1×9 package optical transceiver module is composed of optoelectronic devices, functional circuits and optical interfaces, including two parts: transmitting and receiving. The general solution is as follows:

The transmitting part is: the input electrical signal of a certain code rate is processed by the internal driver chip to drive the semiconductor laser (LD) or light-emitting diode (LED) to emit a modulated optical signal of the corresponding rate. It is necessary to use an independent driver chip (LDD) and a laser to jointly realize the function of the transmitting part. At the same time, it needs to be equipped with a light-emitting detection circuit, an optical power control circuit, and a temperature compensation circuit. There are also some models of chips that integrate these functions. Use the backlight diode to convert the light output of the laser diode into the corresponding photocurrent, and control the bias current of the laser diode LD through the APC loop feedback, so as to maintain the constant light output power. The constant power value is set by the external resistor RAPCSET, and the time constant of the APC loop is determined by the external capacitor CAPC.

The receiving part is: an optical signal with a certain code rate is input into the module and then converted into an electrical signal by a light detection diode. After passing through the limiting amplifier (LA), the electrical signal of the corresponding code rate is output. At the same time, an alarm signal will be output when the input optical power is less than a certain value. It is necessary to use an independent limiting amplifier (LA) and a detector integrated with TIA to realize the function of the receiving part, and at the same time, it needs to be equipped with a light detection circuit, an alarm output circuit, and a temperature compensation circuit. There are also some models of chips that integrate these functions.

Development of 1×9 optical module: Although 1×9 optical module is a low-cost and low-power product, with the development of network communication and the improvement of requirements, 1×9 optical module can no longer meet the needs of many networks. After that, the optical module products in 1X9 transceivers gradually developed towards the direction of miniaturization and heat transfer. Optical module products began to develop in two aspects, one is the hot-swappable optical module, which is the later GBIC optical module. The other is miniaturization, using LC head, directly cured on the circuit board, evolved into SFF optical module: SFF 2X5, or SFF 2X10. Afterwards, SFP modules and later SFP+, QSFP, QSFP28, QSFP-DD, etc. appeared.

Huihongfiber makes single mode and multimode, simplex and duplex fibers optical transceivers 1×9 types, we also make SFP, XFP, SFP Plus, QSFP28, QSFP, SFP28, QSFP-DD etc optical transceivers.

The 1X9 package optical module product was first produced in 1999. It is a fixed optical module product. It is usually directly cured (soldered) on the circuit board of the communication device and used as a fixed optical module. Sometimes it is also called a 9-pin or 9PIN optical module. . As the name implies, this fiber optic module has nine PIN corners, which is the most common packaging form of early optical modules, and is also a type with a very large market demand. It is mainly used in fiber optic transceivers, PDH optical transceivers, fiber optic switches, single Multi-mode converters and some industrial control fields. To put it simply, the 1×9 optical module is a communication device that uses light waves as the carrier and optical fiber as the transmission medium. The signal is amplified, shaped and regenerated to return to the original electrical signal. We have a wide range of 1×9 fiber optic transceivers for various applications, low cost, good quality and fast delivery.
